Blueberry Hibiscus refreshes with the tangy-tart character of hibiscus, the sweet succulence of Great Lakes blueberries and the complex floral accents of wild-harvested schisandra berries. Known as the "five-flavor fruit," schisandra berry has a long history as a traditional East Asian tonic and anti-stress tea.

Ingredients: Organic rooibos, organic elderberries, organic hibiscus flowers, organic blueberries, organic schisandra berries.

Rishi tea bags are made from a plant-based material called polylactic acid (or PLA for short). PLA is an inert, DNA-free material that is produced by breaking down starches found in plant sources. Through this process, no plant DNA is left behind, making these hypoallergenic and allergen-free. PLA is NOT derived from petroleum and will not leak harmful plasticizers into your brew.

A True Bargain

I don't indulge in elaborate reviews that go into specific flavors. I think this is reasonably smooth, some bright fruit tartness and is well balanced.

To make this simple: If this were the only coffee I had to drink for the rest of my life, I would be a happy man. And at this price, it is a super bargain.

This is my favorite. Easy drinking…nice flavor. Has the right amount of roasting and flavor for me—not bitter like starbucks. Closer to a dunkin w way more flavor! I tried a 1 lb bag and now we buy the 5 lb bag regularly.

Central/South American tends to be our go to, however the Kayon Mountain is a pleasant departure from bolder (chocolate and plum) flavors. What can be challenging about African blends is they often carry heavy floral notes that can come across as sour. This has a nuanced profile that we have enjoyed as a drip or pour over. It is sweet, but still provides lingering notes (~caramel) that provide a satisfying cup.
