I've been searching for a decaf that doesn't taste like decaf and have been disappointed by the stops along my journey. I read about the sugarcane EA process and searched for a source, finding this blend from Speedwell. That this decaf was also a darker roast was a plus. It's the best decaf I've had — not quite to my vision of perfection. Maybe there's no way to decaffeinate coffee without some impact to the flavor.
Speedwell has ruined all other coffee for us - it is the benchmark we compare all our other brands too. Smooth, rich and flavorful- highly recommend.
Solid decaf coffee. Smooth, not acidic and definitely doesn't have the flat taste of Swiss water process.
