We are fortunate and proud to roast this exceptional lot of coffee, from the 2022 One of a Kind Guatemala auction. Produced by award winning grower, Mr. Florencia Villatoro, on his five acre farm El Diamante. This special lot is 100% Bourbon variety, that has been naturally processed, providing a fruit-forward sweet cup.

The name of the farm, The Diamond, refers to the affinity and appreciation that Florencia has for his land. His farm is a treasure for him and everything he has been able to achieve.

Located in Huehuetenango, El Diamante sits between 1550 and 1850 meters above sea level, in a perfect microclimate for growing coffee.

We taste: candied strawberry, barrel aged whiskey, grape jelly

Speedwell is always a step above other roasters. I moved across country and still buy Speedwell.

A beautiful surprise on how smooth and delicious this roast is. I have been enjoying the Nor’easter Pacific and Nine Bar for some time now. I received this as a gift at Christmas and I not surprised at how fantastic it is. I hope this will continue to be available because I’m hooked!

Excellent Coffee

I try to buy local. That's how I found Speedwell. I've moved to Florida. I haven't found a roaster that compares with Speedwell, so coffee is my guilty pleasure.

This coffee is a cut above. I am sipping a cup of it as I write this review. It is EXTREMELY smooth. There is none of the bitterness that is so common in coffee. I'll probably be ordering another can of it. That's about the best endorsement I can give. I got it on the 29th, today is the 2nd and I am looking to order more.
