This is our first time offering a natural processed coffee from Guatemala. This coffee, is from El Porvenir Coop, in the southern mountains of Guatemala. If you our more unique and exotic tasting Ethiopian coffees, you will love this coffee. Wonderful as a drip coffee, and really crisp and delicious prepared as an iced coffee.
Cooperativa El Porvenir represents the hard work and dedication of nine producing families and twenty eight farms in the area surrounding Laguna de Ayarza, in South East Guatemala. Farming families include the Lorenzo, Zapata, Aguirre, Najera, Mendez, Sandoval, Ortega, Martinez, and Barrera families. Average growing altitude in this region is 1800 MASL, and coffees are processed at 1500 MASL. Farmers grow red and yellow Catuaí, Pache, and red and yellow Bourbon. Coffees are dried 5-6 days on the patios, then finished in guardióas.

I do like this one very much!! I probably will order this again! I love the sources of beans from both Guatemala and Ethiopia!!
The website says one thing about tasting notes and the coffee bags says another. Go by the notes on the coffee bag because that’s what it taste like.
Giving it 4 stars because while a good coffee. The floral aspect lingers for a very long time after I finished the coffee.
