Oreti Estate, situated on the Thika Plateau, is a 36-hectare lot owned by the Harries family since 1946.  Boyce Harries is current caretaker of the estate, overseeing harvest, processing, and between season upkeep.  The main harvest season is usually October through December.  The permanent staff of 40 is multigenerational, many having worked and lived alongside up to three generations of the Harries family.  The homes the Harries provide have clean water and electricity standard, as well as numerous extra facilities.

This cup really stood out to us on our cupping table, and the care taken in harvest and processing is obvious.

We taste: malty sweetness, reminiscent of black tea, citric acidity with green grape.
