Cupping Notes: dried blueberry, cherry fruit, bittersweet chocolate, crisp, clean acidity.
One of the most interesting coffees we have found this year. Almost embarrassingly lavish fruit-toned complexity from aroma to cup. Blueberry and cherry tones fill the cup, with chocolate notes more than noticeable. A crisp, clean finish. A dry-processed or “natural” coffee, meaning the beans are dried in the fruit rather than after the fruit is removed (as in “washed” coffees). This intense fruitiness is attributed to this drying method.
